Katie & Laura's Panty Shop is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase or other transaction using the Services or otherwise communicate with us. If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to the collection, processing, and disclosure of your personal information.

- Communicate with you: provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
- Comply with law: meet legal obligations, respond to valid legal process, and enforce our terms and policies.

HOW WE DISCLOSE PERSONAL INFORMATION

- To service providers and processors who perform services on our behalf, for example IT and platform hosting, payment processing, order fulfillment and shipping, email and SMS delivery, customer support and chat, data analytics, and cloud storage.

- Shopify, our ecommerce platform and website host (and Shopify Payments and Shop Pay for payments).
- Klaviyo, our email and SMS marketing and customer-data platform.
- Chaterimo, the provider of our website chat assistant ("Katarina").
- Cloudflare, infrastructure we use to securely deliver personalized features.
- Shipping carriers and fulfillment providers, to deliver your orders.
- Advertising and analytics partners, such as Meta and Google, for advertising and website analytics.
- Reviews and loyalty providers, to power product reviews and our rewards program.

Each third party uses personal information in accordance with its own privacy policy. Our use of these services may change; we review this list when we add or remove apps.

SALE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION, SHARING, AND TARGETED ADVERTISING

Some US state privacy laws use the terms "sell" and "share" broadly. We do not sell your personal information in exchange for money. However, our use of cookies, pixels, and advertising partners to show you personalized ads based on your activity across different websites may be considered "sharing" or "selling" for "targeted advertising" or "cross-context behavioral advertising" under some laws.

You have the right to opt out. You can opt out of this targeted advertising or sharing by:

- using the "Your Privacy Choices" control in our website footer or our cookie or consent banner;

AUTOMATED PROCESSING, PROFILING, AND AI PERSONALIZATION

To give you a more helpful and personalized experience, we use automated tools and, in limited cases, artificial intelligence:

- Virtual shopping assistant ("Katarina"). Our website chat is powered by an AI service (Chaterimo). When you are logged into your account, the assistant may use information associated with your account, such as your first name, shopping preferences, products you have purchased or recently viewed, your general location, and your email or SMS subscription status, to give you more relevant, personalized help during your chat. It does not have access to your payment card details or store-credit balances.
- Predictive and preference analytics. We and our marketing platform (Klaviyo) use automated analytics to estimate your interests and the products and timing most relevant to you, in order to personalize recommendations and marketing.

These tools support customer service, recommendations, and marketing; they do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to more information about, to access, or to opt out of certain automated decision-making or profiling. RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY

The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve them. Information you submit to the Services will be transmitted to and shared with Shopify, as well as third parties that may be located in countries other than where you reside. We also use certain Shopify enhanced features that incorporate data from your interactions with our store, other merchants, and Shopify. In these circumstances, Shopify is responsible for the processing of your personal information, including responding to your requests to exercise your rights. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND LINKS

The Services may link to websites or platforms operated by third parties. If you follow links to sites we do not control, you should review their privacy and security policies. We are not responsible for the privacy or security of such sites or the accuracy of information found there. Information you share on public or third-party platforms may be viewable by others. Our inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.

CHILDREN'S DATA

The Services are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of majority in your jurisdiction. If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with personal information, please contact us to request deletion. As of the effective date of this Privacy Policy, we do not have actual knowledge that we "sell" or "share" the personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.

Retention periods vary based on the type of information and the reason we hold it; when no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

- Manage communication preferences; opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link and texts by replying STOP. We may still send non-promotional messages about your account or orders.

How to exercise your rights. Submit a request by emailing sales@fancysatinpanty.com or using the controls on the Services. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we will require proof of authorization and may still verify your identity. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

COMPLAINTS AND APPEALS

If you have a complaint about how we handle your personal information, please contact us using the details below. If we deny your request, depending on where you live you may have the right to appeal by replying to our decision or contacting us at sales@fancysatinpanty.com; we will respond as required by law. You may also have the right to contact your state attorney general or local data protection authority.

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

We may transfer, store, and process your personal information outside the country in which you live, including in the United States. SMS / TEXT MESSAGE MARKETING

If you opt in to our text messaging program, we use the mobile phone number you provide to send you recurring automated marketing and transactional text messages, such as new arrival announcements, promotions, subscriber-only offers, abandoned cart reminders, and order or shipping updates. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of marketing text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us, or by contacting us using the details in the "Contact" section above; you may receive one final message confirming your request. For help, reply HELP or email us at sales@fancysatinpanty.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Full program terms are available in our Mobile Terms of Service, which we provide at the point of sign-up.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number, your text messaging opt-in, or your SMS consent with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information collected through our text messaging program is used solely to deliver the messages you have requested and is shared only with the service providers (such as our SMS platform and wireless carriers) that help us operate the program on our behalf. Any categories of personal information described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy as disclosed, sold, or shared with business and marketing partners do not include mobile opt-in information or phone numbers collected for SMS marketing.
